It’s normal, I had some growth under my nipples during puberty.. but I was pretty skinny, so it wasn’t noticeable. Your body may also get leaner over the next few years though, and working out your chest can help.

ya last year when i was in 7th grade and 13 i think in the middle of the year my nipples started to hurt when i got hit there. My doctor said that it is normal and happens to every one. It will go away just wait probably a couple of months

Yes. It happens during puberty because testosterone is fluctuating in your body. Once, it stabalizes, your estrogen levels will drop and your man boobs (puffy nipples) will go away. If however, you get to be 17 and they’re still there, further action may be needed.

Yeah we have oestrogen and testosterone.. women do too.. only we have more testosterone than oestrogen.
During puberty your body produces growth hormones… and induces a large shot of testosterone.. and to try to balance that out, it also produces more oestrogen.
Some dudes are sensitive to oestrogen and thus the manboobs during puberty… these usually subside when puberty is complete.
However, excess body fat also induces oestrogen production.. which induces mroe fat.. its a visious cycle… you can do something to help.. which is diet and exercise.

It is a function of the hormone laden foods we eat. Our farming industry, which has been deregulated, uses hormones to encourage growth — this contributes to the fat many of our kids have – and contributes to boys growing boobs. If you lose the weight you can tighten up your chest, I’m sure — but I’m sorry this is happening to you.
